1. Eligibility
Our courses are aimed at people who have none or very little previous experience in the trade they wish to learn.
Our construction courses are designed for people with little or no previous experience and are attended by people of all ages, and sexes. The usual age range of people attending our courses is mid twenties to mid fifties although the youngest person to attend a course at our centre was 18 and the oldest was 72 years old.
Our courses are suitable for people who wish to learn a new trade so they can change their career, for existing tradespeople to learn additional skills, for people who wish to learn the skills to complete work on their own properties and for people who wish to learn a trade to supplement their income.
2. Choosing the correct course
We pride ourselves on ensuring you are advised on which is the best course for you, even if that means advising you complete a course which we do not offer.
We are not here to get as many people onto a course as possible, we are here to help you choose the best course for YOU. If you are unsure which trades to complete, please either email or call the centre to discuss further. Or, if you prefer, arrange to visit our centre to see different courses being delivered. You will not be pressured into choosing a course, nor will we continuously email and call you. We are here to advice and support you.
3. Booking a course
You can either book a course in person at our training centre, by telephone or via email.
To book onto a course we only need minimum contact details. Bookings can be made either in person at our training centre, over the telephone or via email at enquiries@tradeteacher.co.uk
When you wish to book a course we will advice on dates which are available and once you state which date you would like to attend we will reserve you a place on the course. We ask for a deposit of £150 to be paid to secure your place on a course, with the outstanding balance due 4 weeks before the course start date.
Payment can either be made by card payment or bank transfer. Once payment has been received, we will send you confirmation of your booking, a receipt and joining instructions.
