Benefits Extra time to practice plastering skills on larger areas. Course include the 9 day course plus 10 days of plastering practice days. During these extra days you can plaster larger areas, apply a floating coat, board and skim an RSJ. You can split these 10 days of training. You could also attend the 9-day course and add extra days as and when you wanted, if you felt you needed the extra training.

4-Week Plastering Course Outline

Plastering Courses Outline.

This 4-week plastering course is designed to teach you the skills complete plastering work to a high standard. The course concentrates on skimming, skimming, skimming, as this will be the main work you will complete away from the centre.

This 4 week course includes the 9-day plastering course we offer plus an extra 2 weeks so you can practice your skills and build your confidence. You will do this by plastering larger areas such as the tasks listed below. If you prefer you could attend the 9-day course and add extra days if you felt you needed extra practice. When you complete the extra plastering training days you will complete the projects below. Below are details of the different sized walls, rooms, available including the dimensions and the approx. time it should take you to complete.

Task 1.
Wall measuring &m x &m which should take you & hours to complete.

Task 2.
Wall measuring &m x &m which should take you & hours to complete.

Task 3.
Wall measuring &m x &m which should take you & hours to complete.

Task 4.
Wall measuring &m x &m which should take you & hours to complete.

Task 5.
Ceiling measuring &m x &m which should take you & hours to complete.

Task 6.
Complete room including ceiling. Room measuring &m x &m which should take you & hours to complete. This would need to be completed over consecutive days.

Task 7.
Board and skim an RSJ and adjoining ceiling. Measurements are &m x &m which should take you & hours to complete. This is only available for people who have completed the 9-day plastering course.

Task 8.
Curved ceiling measuring &m x &m which should take you & hours to complete.

Duration and Cost

Plastering Course Cost.

The cost of this plastering course is £2,600 INC VAT. You only need to bring yourself, work clothes and footwear and your lunch, we will provide everything else.

The course is 4 weeks in duration, Monday to Thursday from 8.30am until 4.30pm and Fridays from 8.30am until 3pm.

Our centre based in Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 2DJ. Please arrive at the training centre at least 15 minutes before the course start time.

We ask for a deposit of £250 to secure your place on our plastering training course and full payment at least four weeks before your course start date.

Course Start Dates

The first 9 days of this course are the same as our 9-day plastering course so please check the relevant page for available dates. You can opt to either complete the extra 10-days plastering training straight after the first 2 weeks or you can split them to suit your availability.

Our plastering training courses are very popular and book up quickly and as we only have 10 spaces on each course the course dates below maybe full before we have time to update this website.

Also it is worth noting that as we are flexible with customers, we do allow them to change course dates and so spaces may become available before we have had time to update the website. It is worth adding your details to our reserve list as we will contact people on the list first to offer new spaces.
