Domestic Hot Water Systems
After successful completion of this 1 day course, (you will receive a home study pack that you will need to complete prior to attending), you will be able to self certify unvented hot water systems that you install. It is a legal requirement that all domestic unvented hot water systems over 15 litres capacity are maintained by a qualified person, a qualified person is someone who holds a recognised unvented hot water storage system certificate. This certificate is valid for 5 years.
It is a requirement that you have a recognised plumbing qualification or a CV with supporting references before you can attend this course.
The course consists of both theory and practical demonstrations and you are assessed with a practical exam and paper based exam.
