1 Day BS7671 UPDATE 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations Course

Who is this course suitable for?

This course deals with the changes from the 16th to the 17th Edition ONLY. It is suitable for delegates looking to update to the 17th Edition under the proviso that they already have completed a 16th Edition qualification.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO ATTEND COURSE

Candidates must show certificate evidence that they have the qualifications listed below. If they do not have these minimums they will not be able to sit the exam. No other qualifications are acceptable for the update course.

City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology
Certificate must be dated June 2004 or later

OR

City and Guilds 2360 Electrical Installation Parts 1 & 2
Certificate must be dated June 2004 or later

OR

City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations
BS7671 – June 2001 (16th Edition)
Certificate must be dated June 2001 or later

Without one of these, candidates must choose the full 4 day course. All training centres and colleges are required to abide by the same strict rules on qualifications.

Candidates who do not qualify for the Update course must take the Full course (4 days).

Note, the 1 day Update course is intensive and candidates must be certain they are sufficiently up to speed on 16th requirements to benefit from the 1 day update. Anyone that has only been an occasional user of the wiring regs or who has rarely practised electrical installation work over the last few years may consider the 4 day Full course more beneficial and better paced, even if they pre-qualify for the Update
